Make a commitment to yourself. If you are reading this, you are already one step ahead. Hooray! You got this. The best place to start the healing process is acknowledging the fact that we all need healing, on some level.

All we want is Inner Peace
We deserve and are worthy of inner peace.
Once we are aware that we need healing, we will become more open to receiving the healing energy of the universe.
Here is a simple guide on how to get started.
Make small commitments to yourself.
Holding yourself accountable is the first step to self-healing. If you tell yourself you are going to do something for yourself, do it.
Do the work.
Move your body-Walk, run, skip, dance, play a sport, lift weights and/or stretch (do yoga) daily.
Be creative- Draw, paint, journal, sing, play an instrument, dance, craft, try a martial art.
Get outside- Explore nature, breath in fresh air, walk barefoot on the earth, soak in some Vitamin D from the sun’s rays.
Be silent. Get familiar with the sound of silence (we don't always need background noise when we do things like eating, cleaning or working).
Start to re-direct your thoughts- Ex. Perhaps that person who cut you off in traffic was on their way to a hospital to say goodbye to a loved one who was close to passing away? If you made it to your destination safely, let go of what happened while in route.
Be grateful. When we are grateful for what we have, we will attract more things to be grateful for.

Listen to your body. Our bodies are designed to selfheal. If your body is telling you to rest, slow down and take a step back, rest. We have everything we need inside of us, and our bodies will tell us if we are doing too much, too fast. Listen to the signs (lethargy, weak muscles, breakouts on skin, belly aches, headaches/migraines) that your body is giving out.

You are ready to start the journey of self-healing. Get plenty of sleep, drink lots of water, and avoid processed foods as much as possible. You have the power to take control of your life. You have the power to be anything you want to be. You have the power to live a happy, healthy life.
